RE: Atwood water heater

Hey Robert, my plans always come together. Usually not on my time schedule and usually not they way I had planned. Thank goodness for these forums or really thank goodness for all the knowledge out there.

Atwood water heater

It has always workeded great. This weekend took showers in nothing but
warm water. Not real hot at any of the faucets yet it seems to be
plenty hot at the pop off valve. I checked the by pass valve and its
in the correct postion. Any other suggestions. Its a 10 gal
gas/electric, electonic ignition. I also tried it on gas thinking I had a power problem.

RE: Black streaks, it helped

Read the label on "awesome" and you may not want to use it. Its mostly recomended for degresing motors and such. Wear protective gloves and goggles when using.

RE: South Padre Island

I'm thankful for cg with rules and more thankful when they enforce them. Its seems the more rules and the better they are enforced, they better the cg is...JMHO.
Edit: Beaches have rules. Red flag, get out of the water dummy.

RE: Kerrville-Schreiner, Tx, Park questions

Theres only one problem with this park...wildlife. I'm kidding of course. The deer will come within feet, not yards of your RV. We prefer the Hill side becasuse of the wildlife. Drive slowly in the park...had antelope run right in front of my 38 footer mh. If you're into bicyles, bring one, its a great place for riding.

RE: Camping in Texas?

Milk Truck, you will be within 100 miles of the best camping in Texas. September thru June is fantastic camping. Do a google on Texas Hill Country camping and you'll start packing. And welcome to the Lone Star State.

RE: TO LUBE OR NOT TO LUBE

Now lets think about this. If you've had the mh 11 months...how long did the dealer have it? The oil has probably already been in the mh way over 12 months so technically you've messed up the warranty. Go on the trip and change it when you get back or, there are many mobil lube companies that will come to your rv site while you're on your trip.

RE: On-Star

It appears that (a) to (o) about covers insurance companies and most other companies that want to know how you use your vehicle.

RE: On-Star

The insurance industry loves Onstar. They are able to obtain (for a fee) your driving habits. You tell the insurance co you don't drive back and forth to work but you travel the same route at approx the same times each day at an average speed of "x". Got you!

RE: 11.7 Billion profit

Many, many, many companies make a significally larger percentage of profit than the oil companies. I believe Lowes and Home Depot made more money percentage wise than Exxon/Mobil. Don't hear people grumble about the cost of a 2x4.

RE: Restoring a nice shine to motorhome exterior

Be very careful with "Awesome". After reading the label, I put it back on the shelf. It appears its made for dgreasing motors more than anything.

RE: Damon Motor Coach

I had a major vibration problem with freightliner chassis. Balanced tires, aligned front end, rotated tires, replaced steering gear box, replaced u-joints in steering column. Turned out to be abent right front wheel. Replaced wheel all was good. 6 weeks in and out of the shop.

RE: slide-out problem question

Hey Larry, I should have asked before..do have electric or hydraulic operated slides? You're not trying to open it with people sitting in/on it are you?
If electric, could be a loose connection someplace.
